Children's Therapy Center
Speech-Language Pathologist
Seattle, WA

Tanna  is a speech-language pathologist, originally from Florida, who moved to Seattle just under 2 years ago.  She obtained a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Ft. Lauderdale, where she was introduced to AT and AAC as a lab assistant.  Through hands-on experiences and mentorship, Tanna became enthralled with the power of  AAC and technology in the therapeutic field.  After graduating, she built her clinical skills in the areas of AAC and AT as a full time therapist and consultant.  Tanna has been practicing for over 5 years and currently works at Children’s Therapy Center in Burien.  Tanna has presented on AAC and AT at the Florida Cleft-Palate and Craniofacial Symposium, as well as intra-office trainings and seminars for families and professionals.  While not serving children and families in direct intervention, Tanna shares resources and guidance for families and colleagues through her AT/AAC blog, SNEAK outside the box (SNEAKotb), as well as on guest posts for a prominent AAC blog, PrAACtical AAC.
